20-year-old Landry Layton is a proud Oklahoma cowgirl. Born into a ranching and rodeo legacy, Landry is the daughter of Rowdy and Tiffany Layton of Welch. Along with her siblings, Landry, grew up on a working cattle ranch, learning the value of hard work, keeping your word, and following through on commitments. Landry is a fifth-generation cattlewoman, known for raising high-quality Red Angus cattle, and a third-generation rodeo cowgirl who has grown up competing in barrels and poles. Her mom, a former ACRA barrel racer, and her late grandfather, a PRCA steer wrestler, influenced her love of rodeo. In November 2023, Landry received the prestigious American FFA degree, the organization’s highest honor. She loves sharing about her Western heritage and advocating for agriculture. Landry is a junior at Oklahoma State University, majoring in Agriculture Communications. In her spare time, Landry can be found training horses, spoiling her dog, and traveling.
